Modular log homes and log cabins???  Why?

Modular log homes are very similar to standard built log homes; however, the construction techniques are radically different but the end results are almost identical.
Modular homes are more widely accepted today than they were a decade ago.  Plain and unimaginative designs have been replaced with highly innovative designs, including log homes and log cabins.  There are many different log home and log cabin designs to choose from.  Some styles to choose from include chalets, Cape Cods, traditional cabins, and innovative contemporary styles.  Architectural features such as vaulted ceilings, full height spaces, two stories, outdoor snugs, wrap around terraces, built in Jacuzzis and more. Suppliers include many options which make them easy to customize and adapt to suit a broad range of customer specifications.
The high level of refinements and attention to detail during the design and construction stages of modular log homes ensure they are of the highest level of quality once completed and delivered to the job site.
Modular log home construction is highly efficient.  Most modular homes are assembled on a production line indoors and can be built from scratch in a short period of time.  Some designs can be built with appliances fully fitted and job site completion in less than two weeks.  These modular homes are constructed in large workshops by highly skilled workers.  The indoor environment means that production is not interrupted by weather and allows for construction to take place 24 hours per day.

The high efficiency levels in modular construction have made them an extremely good value for the money.  On average modular construction is 25% - 30% less expensive than standard (or stick built) home construction.  Modular construction has less impact on the environment; also, modular construction uses less energy in transportation since delivery of each module replaces multiple deliveries for standard construction.
